This position will be based in Germany and you can choose your workspace: München, Hamburg or Frankfurt.

We are a team of 20+ b2b market researchers based in Manchester, London and Germany. We thrive on delivering world class insights to our clients to enable them to make better business decisions. We work on a range of projects… both qual and quant, tracking and ad-hoc and cover a huge range of topics including brand, customer needs, product/proposition development and market opportunities.

Outside of the day-to-day we run training sessions internally sharing new methods and techniques or the latest thinking in b2b marketing as well as formal training on key aspects of the job including presentation skills and market research methods. 2-3 times a year we all get together in person to share ideas and celebrate our wins.

Job Description

As a Research Manager at B2B International, your role will be varied with no two days being the same! You will be working with a range of clients developing insights for some of the largest B2B brands in the world.

You will be managing a variety of projects for a range of global companies, advising them on how to grow their business, build their brands and exceed the expectations of their customers.

We’re looking for curious, ambitious, and analytical individuals with experience in the following research activities:

  • Designing quantitative questionnaires and discussion guides in line with research objectives
  • Managing multiple projects according to project timelines and budget
  • Management of internal teams (e.g., research executives, fieldwork, data processing, visualisation)
  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative survey data with a high level of attention to detail
  • Using quantitative data analysis packages e.g., Q, SPSS, R
  • Understanding of when to use statistics and advanced analytical techniques
  • Writing concise and clear visualised research reports in PowerPoint
  • Developing the report structure and storyline including conclusions and strategic recommendations
  • Verbally presenting data and insights to clients
  • Leading client communication (both verbally and via-email)

Additional desired qualities include ability to meet deadlines, proactivity, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • Commercial market research experience: you will have at least 2+ years of experience in commercial market research
  • Analytical mindset: an ability to interpret data, translating raw data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations
  • Technical proficiency: experience of research software such as Q / SPSS
  • Experience across the full-research lifecycle: experience managing a range of market research projects from commissioning through to the delivery of the final presentation, experience in brand tracking would be ideal
  • Project management skills: including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines and ensure the execution of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset: a natural interest and desire to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, translating raw data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication skills: strong communication and presentation skills in German an English, with the ability to articulate findings in a compelling and engaging manner
