Job Description

dentsu is looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Client Contract and Compliance Manager who will help foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Reporting to the Vice President, Americas Client Contract Compliance and Risk Management, your role involves managing a global contracts library across multiple service lines. This includes ensuring compliance with client contracts, supporting global teams with strategic execution, and managing both contractual and business documentation. Your responsibilities encompass strategic and administrative tasks, interacting with leadership levels post-contract execution for reporting, deadlines, and client requests. You will manage the commercial and legal aspects of contracts to ensure client satisfaction, plan training for compliance policy adherence, and work with teams to identify and mitigate contract compliance risks. You will also have a focus on post-contract work with contract obligations and adherence to contract terms, contract management, compliance, internal controls, risk management and experience working at or with large enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain a comprehensive contracts library.
  • Develop new tools and standards for global strategic execution and compliance.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations, understand terms, and manage internal approvals.
  • Foster client contract compliance, focusing on large enterprise clients and maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate contract reporting and documentation, support audit activities, and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Engage in risk management, preparing assessments and briefings for leadership. You'll collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams, aiming for best practices in contract compliance. Your role is crucial in recommending process improvements and enhancing contract management efficiency.
  • 5+ years of experience with contract management, compliance, standardization and productivity across practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, IT, Paralegal, or related field.
  • 5years' experience in contract development, compliance, audit,procurement, project management, risk management, vendor oversight,finance, law, business, or combination thereof.
  • Advanced working (e.g., Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets),Forms and PowerPoint, including PDF to Word conversions), and withcontract management applications (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Google, AWS, and Microsoft AI technologies.
  • Proficient in telecommunication and willing to meet in person.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, AI trends, and contract compliance best practices.
  • Basic understanding of contract law, negotiation processes, and ability to interpret contract language.
  • Experienced in synthesizing information from multiple sources into concise presentations.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-110,400. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
