Job Description
The Technology Strategy group helps Fortune 500 marketing and technology leaders create their customer marketing technology vision. Our focus is on promoting capability assessments and recommendations across digital marketing technology, core database marketing infrastructure, and data integration combined with Merkle's technology, analytics, and agency heritage gives us a unique value proposition to achieve our recommendations.
The Marketing Technology Strategist will work remotely and report into the Sr. Director, Technology Strategy. You will support Merkle's commercial interest in the execution of consulting engagements by creating a compelling marketing technology point of view related to the ability to use both known and anonymous customer information to inform multi-media marketing execution and decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop recommendations for how to best use information and technology to lead programs across all channels and media including: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, Display (programmatic display across traditional and social media platforms), Search, Mobile, Video, Paid Social, Owned Web.
- Outline how all CX technology components work together to support evolved customer experiences
- You will translate technology investments into direct and measurable results
- Build relationships and manage client expectations by facilitating and driving client meetings and discussions, defining project goals and approach, managing daily delivery efforts
- You will partner with other Merkle members in management consulting, digital agency, quantitative analytics, and technology deployment to ensure recommendations are following best practices and current thought leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- 3+ years' experience in consulting, technology or IT related field.
- 2+ years' experience in technology implementation specific to data management, analytics, identity management.
- Subject matter expertise in technologies and tools to support customer experiences across multiple data and analytics solutions.
- Working knowledge of CRM technical concepts and tools including relational databases, customer data integration, analytic modeling, campaign management and business intelligence systems.
- Experience working in a digital agency, digital marketing provider, digital software provider, digital marketing organization, digital consulting firm or marketing service provider.
- Frame complex digital marketing, CRM and technical concepts in a simplistic way that facilitates discussion and deeper levels of understanding.
- Requirement to travel for clients, up to 50%.#LI-CP1 #LI-Remote
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($54,000-$90,500). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
