Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and integration of software solutions, with a focus on Magnolia CMS. Excellent Java programming skills are essential for this role, while knowledge of Magnolia CMS is a plus. Familiarity with React, other Java-based CMS platforms, and system integration will be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and customize software applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices, using Java programming.
- Integrate different systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software development, system integration, and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in Magnolia CMS.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members, promoting best practices and maintaining high coding standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Excellent Java programming skills, with a strong understanding of Java frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with Magnolia CMS is a plus. Willingness to learn and work with Magnolia CMS is essential.
- Knowledge of React is a plus
- Experience with other Java-based CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
- The developer will be reporting to a Magnolia Lead
