Job Description

The purpose of this role is to develop and lead best in class strategies and management of Mobile and App based performance marketing accounts. Reporting to the VP of App Advertising, this role will provide leadership across the client’s business and liaise with other channels and cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated response to mobile and app marketing objectives. You will have demonstrated skills and hands-on experience building a mobile app strategy and scaling mobile app growth. This role requires experience running multi-channel app campaigns with a relentless analytical rigor, ability to connect and communicate objectives to business results, and curiosity to pursue client growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to mobile app campaign management, in cooperation with VP of App Advertising and the Client Leaders.
  • Lead growth marketing strategies, planning, execution, campaign management, and performance-based measurements (including subscription funnel data) for the client’s various mobile app offerings and applicable KPI’s.
  • Immerses self in clients' business: understanding their goals, external economic environment, industries; also know their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like
  • Work collaboratively with all internal teams (Account Management, Analytics, Client Solutions) to manage internal & external relationships as related to mobile app.
  • Passionately drive thought leadership and POVs for both internal and external distribution.
  • Fluency and expertise in implementation of all aspects of multi-channel marketing via mobile networks, Adwords, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, utilizing audience and device targeting, remarketing, conversion tracking, display, and other tactics.
  • Track and measure campaign success, translating performance reporting and analysis on all mobile marketing campaigns, relentlessly iterating to optimize performance and results based on data and insights
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams, such as Performance Creative and SEO, to ideate, connect and drive robust campaign activations and optimizations
  • Ensure best practice and innovation in all mobile app activities; ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Serve as point of escalation, identifying and successfully resolving problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Accountable for achievement of KPIs for dedicated client accounts
  • Liaise with other channels and client programs to share and learn strategies internally to ensure the innovative ideas/new tactics and strategies are always being thought about
  • Ensure proper partner/vendor management and communication, amongst team and client
  • Work collaboratively with analytics teams for annual and monthly budget forecasting and is responsible for growing account profitability
  • Willing to provide tactical/operational help amongst the Media team as needed

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of experience with significant portion of time dedicated to managing Mobile App performance marketing campaigns
  • Proven track record of delivering significant customer acquisition growth and optimization across all key mobile app metrics
  • Exceptional knowledge of Mobile App space, performance marketing, market development and trends
  • Well-honed communication skills with senior audiences
  • Ability to think strategically, make innovative recommendations that drive client goals
  • Deep understanding of how Mobile App intersects across channel teams - Paid Search / SEM, Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate, Social and Attribution
  • Hands-on experience with leading app analytic tools like Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Localytics, Appannie and/or others
  • Broad range of experience managing across verticals and direct response/branded campaigns
  • Well-honed communication skills with senior audiences
  • Ability to think strategically, make innovative recommendations that drive client goals
  • Ability to nurture and retain client and employee relationships
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
