Job Description

We are looking for a Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Social Marketing & Strategy, you will be the keeper of the social strategy and owner of driving the creation of inspiring work that meet our clients’ goals.

You will be tapped into the pulse of culture and quickly able to identify opportunities for our clients to engage. You will advocate for the right set of actions on social platforms to implement the strategy.

 Key Accountabilities

  • You are a collaborator who combines creative content ideas with smart social media strategies to achieve our goals
  • You will deliver ongoing thought leadership to our teams and clients by identifying problems and finding solutions
  • You will deliver briefs full of insights, inspiration and updates based on creative feedback and help translate that work into social creative
  • You understand our client's industry and category, and have a POV after auditing industry examples and trends, such as memes, formats, cultural insights
  • You will partner with the creative team to push creativity and make sure it aligns with the strategy
  • You will build knowledge on the macro/micro forces that influence our client's business
  • You know how to find the insight and when to implement it

Qualifications

Person Specification

  • 3+ years experience
  • Have expertise in and love for the social space
  • Excited by the internet, love that it’s ever-changing, and understand how to apply this to clients
  • Experience working in an advertising agency on retail clients is a plus
  • Have been a daily lead on client businesses and have developed client relationships
  • Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field, required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and other benefits also are available.
