Job Description

Dentsu is standing up Service Line (SL) dedicated SWAT teams consisting of business, functional, and technology leads who will bring strategic programs to completion. The teams will be an extension of Dentsu's central Operations team, reporting to Americas and SL COOs, and serving as super connectors to bring a unified strategy to execution of each strategic initiative. As part of execution, they will develop solutions that are fit-for-purpose and building implementation plans to fit local priorities. To be successful, the teams will need to use and build upon SL-specific experience, and navigate within the Dentsu global organization. As the Associate Program Manager, you will partner with SL subject matter experts, global process owners, and functional/technology leaders to ensure maximum connectivity and effectiveness across the enterprise.

Your key responsibilities:

As the SWAT Project Manager, you will manage the execution of the SWAT Team's activities that support the business' strategy and goals through the coordination and oversight of multiple related projects. Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensure project objectives and relevant processes are clearly defined and upheld
  • Promote a clear project or program vision and achievable roadmap for success
  • Provide a structured environment that support effective communications and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor the status for each project and lead the overall project and program status, KPIs and integrated roadmap
  • Prioritize projects & other program activities to optimize program value and KPIs
  • Manage stakeholder expectations on project delivery
  • Oversee key inter-project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues to maximize efficient integrated delivery
  • Provide direction and guidance to project teams that help support the program's strategy, objectives and contractual obligations
  • Mitigate risks, resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement across projects
  • Support with mobilizing SL SWAT team(s)
  • Support project management work including documenting project schedules, deliverables, and milestones through a detailed project plan.
  • Coordinate the work of many project team members across multiple geographies, time zones, and departments to ensure projects remains on schedule.
  • Partner with local SL SMEs to ensure the local business requirements are captured and business outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop strong relationships with the SWAT teams, SL leadership, functional teams, global process owners, and other dentsu stakeholders.
  • Present and communicate to stakeholders at all levels. Manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
  • Uphold and promote dentsu's core values and culture.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • 3 to 5 years of project or program management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred: PMI certification (PMP) or similar.

  • Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to organize and prioritize several projects and tasks at one time.
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of Project Management Concepts as defined by the Project management institute (PMI)..
  • Communicate how project team(s) work aligns with dentsu's business goals & objectives.
  • Must be reliable and lead by example related to schedule and recurring tasks.
  • Have conflict resolution skills with an ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs and manage expectations
  • Creative problem solving to find solutions to achieve results when given limited time, budget, resources or information

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - 106,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
