We are currently hiring for a DP/Shooter for social and are looking for someone who loves social media, emerging content and design. A passionate consumer and doer of social, this out of the box thinker understands what goes into making compelling and engaging social content for brands. Someone who is willing to jump in where they can to create amazing work - from photography to design to prop styling to animation. We are looking for someone with a high level of craft in execution but also the ability to be nimble/agile and have a storytelling vision.

In this role, you will be a part of shaping the future of entertainment and media with one of the world's leading streaming services. You’d lead the way with a radically collaborative crew that thrives off audacious thinking. We want challengers who know what it takes to command attention, architect fandoms and never lose sight of even the smallest of details when it comes to opportunities for impact.  

This particular account is right-fit for social-savvy, entertainment enthusiasts:  

• Emerging platforms and the shifts that come with them don’t shake you  

• A day spent not rehashing the latest trends in film, sports and TV is not a day lived  

• Ability to separate substantive, brand-building moves from quick-hit stunts 

• Social-first experience (craft and speed/low-lift), YouTube nerd, sports knowledge a +, high level of craft shooter, creative idea machine.

• Develop, design, plan and execute on site shoots and edit social media assets for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and other emerging social media channels   

• Design for social assets including Instagram Story wallpaper, layouts, frames  

• Understand natively how to capture content within social platforms (Instagram Creator Tools, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok) and can provide visual guidance on social assets  

• Engage with comments and comment on other content relevant to the brand in the platform(s) 

• Responsible for executing visual social content 

• Brainstorm inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement, leveraging new formats 

• Ideal position for those who are energized by collaborating with teammates and clients, always chasing trends 

Due to onsite requirements, only candidates currently located in the Los Angeles area will be considered 

Person Specification: 

• 1+ years of experience 

• Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field

• A passion and interest for capturing and communicating brand stories through digital media 

• Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator) 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
