Job Description

The Associate Director, Analytics leads the development of data driven solutions for clients – including report automation, analysis, and insight – with the objective of optimizing the performance of media initiatives. The Associate Director will manage data and insight delivery processes, drive innovation, and ensure all around team success. 

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is execution focused, able to deliver under time timelines, and manage data challenges in all phases of media performance. Success in this role requires the ability to manage complexity while collaborating across teams, experience within a matrixed organization, and comfort with a lean operating environment that highly leverages automation.

The ideal candidate will have a natural curiously, going beyond reporting to peel away the layers of data to suggest constructive tests, advanced analytics engagements, consumer deep dives, and competitive opportunities that help improve business performance on a regular basis.

Lead execution of overall media measurement strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, learning agendas, and test design

  • Understand core client business challenges, and develop relevant measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning priorities
  • Work closely with internal and client teams to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, developing tools, dashboards, and techniques to optimize media performance
  • Guide the creation of reporting through automated processes, efficiently consolidating data from a multitude of sources into a cohesive view of performance
  • Improve the quality of reporting by creating easy to follow weekly or monthly visual dashboards that key stakeholders will utilize on a regular basis to make informed business decisions
  • Ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support & approved measurement frameworks
  • Prepare & deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audience
  • Participate in team-wide culture of learning by staying current on current industry trends, developments in methodologies and technologies
  • Manage/mentor junior team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, etc.) or with relevant coursework
  • 6+ years relevant Media or Analytics experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Possesses understanding of digital planning and buying, with a focus on standard media metrics
  • Strong organizational skills, able to aggregate information and data from multiple sources
  • Working experience with data from digital media platforms (e.g. DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc.) preferred
  • Demonstrates understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics/Omniture
  • Knowledge of Datorama, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or any similar dashboard products
  • Knowledge of digital attribution methods, marketing mix modeling, measurement frameworks, KPI discovery, tracking implementation preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000-$135,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching,
