Job Description

This role would be the key client digital lead for our major BC accounts BC Government, BC Liquor and Trail Appliances. The digital manager role connects digital media strategy, activation, and client relations. With the option of supervising 2-3 people. The candidate has experience in digital strategy and activation including social, search, programmatic and dealing with direct media partners. Also, the candidate builds and recommend clients the most effective strategies.

  • Build and tailor strategic digital media recommendations for our clients (mostly in the public sector)
  • Understand the client business to facilitate recommendations
  • Work with internal teams activating and optimizing campaigns always aiming to achieve objectives
  • Responsible for working with the analytics team on the production of campaign reports
  • Responsible for excellent account hygiene with the team
  • As an expert in digital media, contribute to training other individuals
  • Briefs partner agencies on strategic implementation needs and roles of specific communication channels. 
  • Prepares reporting documentation for clients demonstrating the strategy and rationale executed to deliver on campaign goals.  
  • Participates and presents in new business efforts for the Canadian Network.  
  • Instils a high-performance, data-driven, continuous improvement culture within a shared service organization.  

Qualifications

 

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field.   
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of  digital media planning & strategy, prior search & social, and programmatic experience great asset for this role 
  • Advanced level MS Office skills: Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.   
  • Management of multiple projects/deliverables
  • Team management experience
  • Applies a best practices in digital planning and execution
