Job Description

Dentsu X is looking for a Manager to take a leadership role in the development of digital marketing strategies for a client with four distinct brands. The Manager must be organized, well-spoken, and have leadership qualities which translate into the ability to manage projects and meet client needs. This person will partner with a team of 3 other account people and a large integrated team across Media (Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic), Analytics, Media Tech and Performance Strategy.

  • Mines data, provides insights and offers recommendations (to superiors) on business oriented challenges/opportunities
  • Demonstrates understanding of client’s business/competitive marketplace (can effectively anticipate questions, demonstrates broader business implications and addresses or pushes back on questions/inquiries
  • Works to build strong client relationship and work towards serving as Trusted Advisor
  • Strategically guides both the client and internal team to ensure a successful relationship
  • Oversees cross-functional process and ensures alignment for providing strategic recommendations and deliverables to the client
  • Acts as a gatekeeper in identifying red flags and propose proactive solutions to mitigate risk
  • Able to manage client requests and push back with sound rationale when necessary
  • Oversees the team’s project management and day-to-day communications
  • Management of client budges, client billing and client approval

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in marketing or related field with 3-5 years of agency experience in account management or paid media, with a client facing role
  • Familiarity with paid media is a must with a strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic required; basic understanding of all digital media disciplines including paid, owned, and earned preferred
  • Clear understanding of media optimization techniques and performance analysis of digital media, and the ability to communicate these in writing and in presentations
  • Base knowledge of media technology, test & learn strategies, and web analytics
  • Ability to multi-task and handle management of multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills with the ability to craft appropriate strategies, develop presentations, POVs and key strategic documents to provide thought leadership and drive innovation
  • Demonstrates passion for digital media and actively seeks opportunities to expand understanding and use of search, display, mobile and social media 
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Follows the tenants of Trusted Advisor to the clients, including being a critical thinker to foster sound, business-focused decision making for the team
  • Significant Microsoft Excel knowledge, as well as PowerPoint knowledge

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $80,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
