While advanced programmatic and real-time-bidding (RTB) knowledge is not expected, the successful Programmatic Trading Coordinator is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects.

Job Description

The Programmatic Trading Coordinator will be part of the agency trading desk team (AMNET) – the performance/data driven business unit within dentsu. The Programmatic Trading Coordinators is responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to client campaigns from our media agencies underneath the Dentsu Aegis Network umbrella. The Programmatic Trading Coordinator assists in key aspects of campaign management including campaign setup and launch, reporting, and communications with internal dentsu teams. Therefore, the PTC is expected to establish campaign insights for the Trader to improve campaign performance. As an entry level position, the Programmatic Trading Coordinator represents the start of a career in programmatic and is supervised by the Trader/Trading Manager.

  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of the trading desk platforms (DSPs) and ability to setup campaigns accurately, keeping in mind client KPIs and platform capabilities.
  • Learn client specific adserving requirements and how they integrate with chosen DPS. Ensure complete understanding of third party verification tools and platforms.
  • Day-to-day activities include financial administration, campaign setup, reporting & analysis, and supporting the greater team.
  • Support Traders/Trading Managers in ensuring that all internal financial processes and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Establish a solid working relationship with the various internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively meet with the supply-side to understand the full breadth of Martech and data capabilities in the Canadian market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Business/Finance background)
  • Proven math and analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical analysis skills
  • Ability to proactively prevent issues and produce solutions when needed
  • Capable of working under pressure with quick turnarounds
  • Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to organize and manage detailed work
  • Desire to learn more about campaign management
  • Advanced computer skills (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint)
