Job Description

The Finance Analyst I will play an integral role in supporting the AMER Finance Lead on the US business reporting and general day-to-day activities. You will work closely with the MKTG Client Finance team as well as the Dentsu Sports International finance teams in the US and offshore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support offshore team in monthly reporting of US financials in BPC
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly financials for reporting in Stravis for each of the MKTG Global markets
  • Conduct reconciliation between D365 and BPC/Stravis reports submitted
  • Execute preliminary month over month analysis of financials:
  • Ensure expenses have been booked correctly
  • Post accruals as needed
  • Provide analysis for variances from budget
  • Present financials to AMER Finance Lead for approval prior to reporting
  • Update forecasts with actuals and distribute finalized financials to stakeholders of each department
  • Maintain balance sheet analysis file for all balance sheet accounts, including review of bank reconciliation to confirm completion
  • Support Client Finance Business Partner in reconciling inter- and intra-company billing, and reporting in Bellin/Coupa system
  • Serve as a bridge between account teams and offshore operational finance team. Includes:
  • Making sure that AP queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that Concur issues are resolved
  • Manage corporate credit card program
  • Support both the AMER Finance Lead and Client Finance Business Partner in producing a comprehensive SOP repository
  • Review revenue forecasting file and compare to booked revenue to identify discrepancies and prepare for monthly revenue review with Account teams
  • Assist AMER Finance Lead and Client Finance Business Partner with cashflow planning by identifying upcoming cash outflows


 

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with focus on financial integrity & compliance
  • Bachelors-degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in finance roles
  • Agency finance team experience is a plus
  • Experience at a globally managed company is a plus
  • This position is responsible for handling highly confidential information, requiring an ability to maintain and display high ethical standards

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,00$-$80,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
