Job Description

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a hospitality-minded Client Service Associate to oversee one of our Fortune 500 clients! This role will be in office for a minimum of 2 days/week and on site at client events regularly. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and manage event registration process in its entirety
  • Manage day-to-day guest communications specific to event registration
  • Advise clients on registration tracking and manage daily project plan
  • Represent client and company in problem-solving with guests to deliver first-class experiences for guests
  • Prepare and manage registration timelines
  • Manage event website and on-site guest materials
  • Conduct onsite management of corporate hospitality events, with a primary focus on in-person guest registration
  • Create client-ready registration recaps, personalized itineraries, and guest plans
  • Lead client conference calls and meetings and design and prepare communications and presentations
  • Manage and communicate project status with manager, internal team and clients
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies to clients and company
  • Evaluate event outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and provide going-forward strategy recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of relevant experience planning and implementing high-level corporate events and hospitality
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Experience in maintaining websites and with guest registration platforms
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and make high-value decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional client service and interaction skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with record keeping and excel reporting
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly take ownership of key program components and work with client and other agency partners
  • Comfort in a client-facing role and ability to lead the client
  • Candidate must possess strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with Lotus Notes is a plus
  • Organizational skills and solid project management experience
  • Experience building presentations and delivering them
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Personable with polished social setting skills
  • Ability to travel frequently, both weekdays and weekends

The anticipated salary range for this position is $48,000 - 62,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
