Job Description

Marketing Intelligence at dentsu is one of the nation’s premier marketing research and consulting practices comprised of both a domestic and international client base. We operate as a full-service market research provider, with qualitative and quantitative expertise to guide clients' brand, product, and marketing strategies, including targeting, channels, positioning, and creative effectiveness. We are known best for our actionable segmentations and our methodology for assessing emotional motivators, Mindsight. Our clients include many of the world’s most well-known brands such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, White Claw, Orajel, Trojan, Bayer, Burger King, Stop & Shop, Tripadvisor and AstraZeneca.

Marketing Intelligence is seeking a Research Project Manager who is committed to helping us develop marketing strategies for large organizations and measure the creative effectiveness of our clients’ marketing campaigns. We are looking for a problem solver who is passionate about surfacing strategic insights based on in-depth quantitative surveys and analyses.

The Research Project Manager will work as part of a team, under the direction and guidance of senior leadership, to play a lead role in marketing intelligence activities and deliverables for both business-to-consumer and business-to-business clients.

 Key Accountabilities

o    Lead all aspects of the research process, with guidance from a senior team member, including:

o   Questionnaire development, survey programming & testing

o   Oversight of fieldwork

o   Development of the data analytic plans

o   Interpretation of data synthesis of data & insights, report-writing

o   Correspondence with client and team members

o    Collaborate with team members to develop client presentations which effectively demonstrate a clear, cohesive "story"

o    Support multiple assignments while working within tight deadlines

 

Qualifications

·      3-6 years of experience with a “custom” market research agency

·      Solid understanding of market research terms, techniques, design, survey development, and analytic approaches & tools

·      Demonstrated ability to manage and execute large scale quantitative studies and manage several studies simultaneously

·      Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organization, time management and team interaction skills

·      Highly motivated and self-directed; possessing a strong intellectual curiosity and a proactive drive to problem-solving

·      Commitment to constantly improving skills, staying current with trends in the industry, and sharing this knowledge with others

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

·      Undergraduate degree in business, economics, math, statistics, psychology, or liberal arts

 

Nice to Have:

·      Experience managing or conducting qualitative research studies

·      Course work in marketing, marketing research/analytics and/or neuroscience

·      Experience with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey or a similar self-service research platform (for programming surveys)

·      Experience with statistical programs and tools such as SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, or SQL

·      Experience with syndicated data and analytic tools such as Google analytics, Kantar Ad Insights, Spyfu, NetbaseQuid, etc.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - $106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
