Job Description

We are looking for a social media super-user ready to help our clients transform their social media presence. Take this unique opportunity to join our growing team as a Community Manager and collaborate with dentsu experts for a top-tier client.  

  • Be the community management expert – engage with key decision makers within client teams to help advance their long-term competitive position through social media 
  • Develop social media strategies that support the broader business and marketing goals of the client 
  • Embrace the opportunity to dig into insights and conversations that help fuel the larger social media story 
  • Monitor the company’s social media accounts daily and proactively seek engagement opportunities to identify brand supporters and advocates via native tactics and social listening platforms
  • Provide thought leadership as well as engagement opportunities and strategic recommendations to advance the client’s social presence 
  • Conduct and present social media reports and sentiment analysis 
  • Support the crafting of creative and/or media briefs and inspiration stimuli to prompt new ideas and thinking 
  • Work with cross-functional partners, including agency colleagues as well as client’s department teams (Marketing, Communications, Business Development etc.) on response approvals and playbook updates 

Qualifications

  •  
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred   
  • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, social media, external communications or related field. 
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc.) and/or social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Social Studio, etc. 
  • You are a great communicator, writer, and project manager who understands how to communicate technical concepts and their impact to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Skilled at creating social content on your phone (Instagram Stories, Photoshop) 
  • Good business acumen and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience in translating business objectives into social media strategies 
  • Ability to think fast, work proactively, and remain diligent in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly identify, define and articulate problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements. 
  • Energy industry experience is considered a strong asset.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
