Job Description

The Merkle Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of CX Transformation, and CX Consulting services. While managing the capabilities of the delivery team, the Project Manager will ensure the on-time delivery and excellence of all Merkle Canada projects. This role is focused on driving the collaboration between internal and external teams, including clients, and partners.

ABOUT YOUR KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY  

  • Champion project management best practices across the Merkle organization. 
  • Throughout the project lifecycle, oversees the development of project deliverables, while establishing and maintaining processes within the proposed scope.  
  • Oversees the development and tracking of integrated project plans. Adapt and apply the delivery approach to meet client initiative objectives and business drivers.  
  • Champions project management best practices across the organization. 
  • Support the writing of proposals through the lens of project management, providing realistic timelines, costs, and delivery plans. 
  • Work closely with the Merkle Senior Leadership Team to address any emergent issues with project progress, client feedback, and team performance. 

Project Management Excellence 

  • Oversee project estimations and prepare cost estimates for individual projects and long-term client engagements. Manage the development and tracking of integrated project plans.  
  • Provide direction and assistance in project execution and problem solving where needed. 
  • Help ensure project delivery in line with our commitments on key Merkle clients, on time and on budget. 
  • Create and maintain key project documentation and work back schedules for all Merkle Canada projects. 
  • Ensure project closure and post-mortem evaluations of project performance. 

Stakeholder & Client Management 

  • Comfortably and confidently manage the communication with senior and c-suite level clients, vendor, and internal dentsu stakeholders. 
  • Based on client needs, provide thoughtful recommendations for the most appropriate project management solutions. Work closely with clients to align on project success. 
  • Provide tried-and-tested client service by understand client’s business issues. 
  • Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to measure the effectiveness of projects over-time. 

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience within the project management, client management field, particularly proven work experience as a coordinator, project manager, or account manager 
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills  
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with social media engagement strategies and best practices 
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills 
  • University degree in business, or a diploma in marketing and/or project management 

Additional: Valued but not required

  • Bilingualism, English, and French preferred but not required. 
  • Experience delivering data, technology, analytics, and research projects within an agency environment 
  • Knowledge or familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data tools, data and insights capabilities, and data deployment platforms.  
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Click Up, and Calendar Hero.
