Job Description

As the Social Content Strategist, you will wear many hats and juggle multiple priorities. Primarily you are helping define and evolve the Social Media strategy for key clients within the Dentsu Network. The right person for the role will be the day-to-day contact for the client and will need to be able to translate our clients marketing objectives, and create innovative, timely and culturally relevant social strategies and deliver regular analytics reporting. This person works with a multidisciplinary internal team and various client stakeholders.

This person will have experience in a broad range of disciplines, have an established footprint in the social space and can speak effectively to how social media plays a part in their client’s overall marketing strategies. They must be confident, a self-starter with a proven track record of success and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.   Strong writing and communication skills are a must.

Job Description

  • Demonstrate significant knowledge of social media including existing and emerging platforms, strategy, and tactics necessary for developing complex social campaigns
  • Lead the social strategy that drives organic growth, engagement, and brand loyalty through our owned social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok).
  • Develop a long-term vision for the role that social media can play for our client’s marketing objectives
  • Leverage analytics and audience insights, historic performance and KPIs to navigate social strategy
  • Research and use social data to create Monthly Social Briefs, Monthly and quarterly reports
  • Manage a Community Manager and Content Creator
  • Oversee campaigns and supervise the execution of the various stages of content calendar development (manage scope, interpret client briefs, support teams in preparing and delivering assets)
  • Work in collaboration with creatives, partners and clients to land and activate creative ideas
  • Project manage and balance the expectations of both the client and internal team to ensure seamless project delivery and quality
  • Use your passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative, and effective ideas and process improvements for your clients
  • Support dentsu Network with social media thought leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years relevant experience in social media (agency background preferred)
  • Experience leading campaigns; able to provide guidance and delegate work
  • Experience in developing and implementing social strategy and campaigns
  • Experience running paid social campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.)
  • Proficient in social media analytics and listening tools such as Meltwater, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, etc.
  • Ability to decipher and leverage data to make strategic decisions
  • Concise and clear written and verbal communication
  • Stakeholder management via building strong relationships with internal and external teams
  • Clearly communicate the value of social to ensure the team is viewed as positively impacting the business
  • Takes ownership (proactive) and be detail-oriented
  • Be Innovative to deliver creative solutions to problems that are driven by data
