Job Description

As a DEI Intelligence Analytics & Insights Lead, you will report to the Americas SVP of DEI Operations in support of initiatives driving the overall DEI evolution at dentsu international and its integrated network of agencies. This is a new role, uniquely positioned to leverage dentsu’s considerable resources and capabilities in data analysis to drive growth and change from within. Among the DEI pillars that will leverage this effort include the following areas of focus:

Data is critical to making informed business and people decisions and the DEI Intelligence Analytics & Insights Lead will be a key partner for DEI, HR functions and business leaders, focusing on data development, governance and analytics to surface actionable insights that will enable dentsu leadership to drive DEI initiatives forward, and maintain a clear view into factors that will foster a thriving DEI culture.
 

You will:

  • Drive evolutions to the DEI Dashboard visualizations and content to improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency of analysis and insights, liaising with Business Insights team for implementation
  • In collaboration with Business Insights team, develop predictive data modeling, monitoring interrelation of metrics, evaluate progress to representation goals
  • Align with Legal, HR, Business Insights, and DEI leadership on data governance principles, bringing business acumen and understanding level of risk with highly sensitive data
  • Refine KPIs for measuring the effectiveness of diversity initiatives and report on value/progress of the initiatives (including evaluating impact of focused candidate sourcing, partnerships, trainings, mentorship and other development programs as it relates to growth and retention)
  • Execute semi-annual data pulls measuring progress of dentsu Americas, inclusive of country-level and Service Line-level analysis. Create presentations and insights for business leaders and appropriate DEI staff 
  • Drive analysis and visualization for annual diversity report
  • Execute ad-hoc requests from DEI leaders, SL leaders and/or from clients (RFP, RFI, existing client ongoing reporting), advise on appropriate levels of measurement and disclosure based on the situation
  • Collaborate with HR and Business Insights teams to perform additional data analysis pertaining to employee Engagement and Performance, such as Performance Rating distribution, Employee Engagement survey insights
  • Remain up to date with DEI industry trends and legal considerations, share best practices, maintain updated database of statistics shared by companies in advertising and other industries, along with industry surveys and census data, for benchmarking

Qualifications

You have:

  • 5-7+ years of prior work experience in a data analysis or a relevant field, with experience in DEI or People Analytics a plus. Ideally this experience has been in business or client decision-making roles, including storytelling and presenting on progress. 
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Exposure to influencing and presenting to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience leading/managing large projects

The following experience would be advantageous:

  • Experience with some of the industry leading analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Data Visualization skillset
  • Knowledge of HR People Analytics best practices and legal considerations
  • Previous team member mentoring/management experience

The anticipated salary range for this position is $83K-100K.
