Job Description

As a DEI Operations & Special Projects Senior Manager, you will support the Americas DEI center of excellence driving the overall DEI evolution at dentsu international and its integrated network of agencies. You will report to the Americas SVP of DEI Operations with a dotted line into the Head of Partnerships & Communities, and will work closely with the Business Resource Group Communities Lead. This role will support organization and effectiveness across the DEI team, including driving research and best practices as part of the new DEI Intelligence function, creating thought leadership, shaping our DEI narrative and client responses, project managing our annual DEI Report, guiding agendas and content for key meetings, helping to manage internal and external partner relationships, working closely with our Business Resource Groups, and will also be the primary liaison between DEI and Communications team involving DEI-specific and company-wide communications and website content. 

You will:

  • Help develop and evolve the DEI narrative and storytelling with internal and external partners, including maintaining boilerplate content and materials, craft responses to RFPs and other client requests, help develop DEI objectives and annual plan on a page
  • Create and maintain DEI client profiles for business development and executive use
  • Project manage annual DEI Report
  • Help manage and optimize key DEI partnership relationships
  • Proactively lead industry research and best practice development, including DEI benchmarking tracker and SWOT opportunities for new DEI capability development
  • Organize monthly new hire DEI orientation welcome sessions
  • Work with DEI staff and Business Resource Group leaders to support events and communications, including creation of meeting invites, maintaining rosters, content in newsletters
  • Support SVP DEI Operations and Head of Culture & Belonging in organizing and proactively maintaining project trackers and check-in meetings
  • Help manage and engage with DEI communities, supporting regular communication through Microsoft Teams, email and other channels
  • Create monthly DEI newsletter and coordinate with dentsu Americas Marketing & Communications team on DEI events and updates in company-wide communications, maintain and proactively update content on internal and external website pages
  • Apply best practices and identify improvements to information flow and organization methods
  • Support other client, SL and Market special projects as needed

You have:

  • Previous experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives 
  • 3-5 years of prior work experience in a relevant field, ideally in project management or communications
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and experience with Microsoft SharePoint for web pages would be advantageous
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create new ways to improve current processes and develop solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value

The anticipated salary range for this position is $83K-100K. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
