Job Description

MKTG Market Managers are event specialist and local market experts. 

You will oversee pre-to-post event responsibilities from planning and preparation, to execution and reporting. Event elements include staffing, product sampling, consumer engagement, asset transportation, POS coordination, and execution. The role requires close collaboration with cross business counterpoints and serves as local client contact. We ask that you have prior sampling event and execution experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee local event performance and execution excellence 
  • Ongoing recruitment and hiring of brand ambassadors and event specialists for sampling events 
  • Motivate and manage teams of brand ambassadors and event specialists on a daily basis 
  • Staff specialists and BA’s for sampling and special events through company staffing application 
  • Ensure staff are trained and prepared to implement events 
  • POS and assets are available, ready, and working before each event 
  • Audit events to ensure executional excellence and compliance with state sampling laws and local regulations  
  • Manage cross agency and in-market communications 
  • Report and recap data and insights for real-time measurement & evaluation  
  • Be content minded and able to manage social media channel(s) to amplify events and event execution  
  • Manage local warehousing with POS and special event assets 
  • Approve and submits staffing payroll and expenses 
  • Serve as local contact for clients and key local partners 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in event management 
  • Knowledge and or previous experience within spirits category / industry 
  • Effectively recruit, manage, and train local market execution staff
  • Proficient in Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint
