At iProspect, an SEO Strategy analyst is responsible for driving Search Engine Optimization strategy, tactics, and overall success for our client portfolio.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve organic rankings and search traffic.
  • Perform keyword research based on persona, semantic, micro-moments, competitors, and trends.
  • Execute on-page optimization related to page titles, descriptions, canonicals, URLs, internal link structures, and SEO copy editing.
  • Perform technical audits and aid in SEO activities related to site migrations.
  • Evaluate link profiles and identify creative link-building opportunities.
  • Organize and participate in client presentations and decks, delivering account performance reporting, providing insightful analysis/trends, recommendations, and opportunities to meet goals and KPI's.
  • Proactively manage client and partners' accounts across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Manage local and offsite listings through major platforms like Google My Business, Bing Places, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Yext, etc.
  • Drive innovation through SEO via testing, implementing best practices, and focusing on KPIs.
  • Build comprehensive data-driven content strategies aligned with audience interest as demonstrated through organic search data.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in SEO production and client service.
  • Demonstrate experience with technical knowledge, on-page SEO, local SEO and link-building tactics.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, and popular SEO industry tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Oncrawl, Deepcrawl, Botify, etc.)
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems (Shopify, Magento, Webflow, etc.)
  • Ability to draw critical analysis from data and make clear recommendations to clients.
  • Experience communicating technical information and concepts to non-technical and technical audiences and articulate the "reasoning" behind the recommendations to clients.
  • Strong client relationship skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently by the established deadline.
  • Understanding of web development and languages such as HTML/CSS, Python, R, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks — you don't have to be a coder, but you should be able to read code (considered an asset).
  • Experience researching, writing, publishing, and promoting blog content (considered an asset).
  • Bilingual in English and French (considered an asset).
