Job Description
The Global Business Transformation & Product Rollout team for the Americas is crucial to realizing our product vision by building upon Dentsu's successful and innovative technology solutions. Being a key member of this team, the Senior Product Business Analyst will manage the team that is responsible for analyzing data on the central data platform across the region, acting as our “Voice of the Customer”, identifying trends and insights, understanding business pain points, consulting on solutions, building documentation, and supporting product development in the innovation of media advertising tools and data products across the Media Service Line in the Americas. They will review, analyze, manage, & recommend course of action across the engagements and initiatives they are leading from creation to completion.
You need an enthusiastic, product, and client experience mindset coupled with an interest in supporting change across a vast media, data, and agency ad operations landscape in a fast-paced, energetic work environment. You will need to be both predictive and responsive to the needs and demands of our clients to ensure that exceptional experience is delivered. Additionally, you must be strategic, collaborative, focused, and able to inspire others in the pursuit of ongoing improvements to drive adoption and value through these transformative new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Line management of the business, product, and data analysts within the Americas Hub Team
Support multiple functions related to enabling data requirements collection, ingestion, transformation, and use
Produce cutting edge insight to drive the offering to clients
Perform business problem discovery and supply validation of business needs and value alongside product owners with clients to ensure a smooth migration to the new platform
Manage client expectations, educate them regarding the system, and guide them into a solution that substantially meets their needs, while hewing to products' functionality
Act as a liaison amongst end-users, project managers, sponsors, developers, and product managers in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, acceptance, adoptions, and maintenance of our software.
Have good knowledge of SQL/R/Python to be able to analyze log level and aggregate data sets
Conduct audits of sample datasets to ensure alignment to requirements
Analyze data availability in context of data requirements
Run tests and analyze data outputs in support of proof of concept exercises
Support agency and client onboarding to data products and services
Support remedy of issues found within data sets including identifying issues, solutions and coordinating for resolution
Prepare reports, recommendations and general documentation as needed
Engage with product, client agency teams, and engineers as needed to support media solutions, workflow, and data products
Support analytical standards across the network and ensure we are in compliance across countries and regions
Train and inspire fellow team members to deliver great results
Positively contribute ideas and feedback to help the team succeed
Empower and develop the team to embody ownership, accountability, and an always on mindset of growth and learning.
Experience
Strong experience in a managing a team of data, product, and business analysts
Extensive experience managing and analyzing advertising campaigns across all channels (online/offline/search/social)
Extensive experience helping clients to measure and assess their paid media activity
Proven track record of providing valuable insight and build narratives from data
Ability to innovate with new data sources and devise new measurement frameworks for clients
Ability to inspire great results from team members and promote innovative work
Experience with data techniques
Experience with Web & Mobile ad networks and platforms
Understanding of Ad Serving Technologies beneficial
You will be passionate about quality customer service and have a problem-solving mindset
Significant experience in the product development lifecycle and commitment to test, build, learn, iterate approaches
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure
You will have strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills
The ability to work autonomously and take your own initiative and align with strategic business and program objectives is an important part of the role
Due to the nature of the role, it is important for you to be adaptable and flexible to ensure that issues get resolved within the required timeframes
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience
3+ years of digital media experience, particularly experience working in ad tech industry with a data-centric role preferred
Requirements analysis, organization and communication experience
Hands-on analytics-based programming experience in SQL and managing large data sets, preferably in paid media
Practical experience in scrum-based Agile development methodology:
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent preferred
B.S. in Engineering, Information Management, or Computer Sciences preferred
