Job Description: 

The Global Business Transformation & Product Rollout team for the Americas is crucial to realizing our product vision by building upon dentsu's successful and innovative technology solutions. Being a key member of this team, the Product Business Analyst will manage a number of workstreams, onboarding our clients to our products, analyzing data on the central data platform across the region, identifying trends and insights, understanding business pain points, consulting on solutions, building documentation, and supporting product development in the innovation of media advertising tools and data products across the Media Service Line in the Americas. They will review, analyze, manage, & recommend course of action across the engagements and initiatives they are leading from creation to completion. 

You need an enthusiastic, product, and client experience mindset coupled with an interest in supporting change across a vast media, data, and agency ad operations landscape in a fast-paced, energetic work environment. You will need to be both predictive and responsive to the needs and demands of our clients to ensure that exceptional experience is delivered. Additionally, you must be strategic, collaborative, and focused on ongoing improvements to drive adoption and value through these transformative new solutions. 

  • Support multiple functions related to enabling data ingestion, transformation, and use 

  • Perform business problem discovery and supply validation of business needs and value alongside product owners with clients to ensure a smooth migration to the new platform 

  • Manage client expectations, educate them regarding the system, and guide them into a solution that substantially meets their needs, while hewing to products' functionality 

  • Define and document customer business functions and product congruence. Consult with all levels to discern and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access. 

  • Act as a liaison amongst end-users, project managers, sponsors, developers, and product managers in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, acceptance, adoptions, and maintenance of our software. 

  • Coordinate data imports and exports and create lists to support business intelligence and reporting efforts 

  • Conduct ad-hoc cross-match/data join requests and reporting 

  • Convert data between multiple file formats to match client requirements using tools like Excel, Notepad++, and others 

  • Collect and analyze client data from a variety of sources, create summaries and reports of requested data, and perform quality assurance checks on data pulled to ensure correct and complete data sets 

  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and bring solutions to the table to enhance the client experience, add efficiency, or break through barriers. Tell stories with data. 

  • Engage with product, client agency teams and engineers to support both media, workflow, and data products 

  • Support analytical standards across the network and ensure we are in compliance across countries and regions 

  • Produce cutting edge insight to drive the offering to clients 

  • Train and inspire fellow team members to deliver great results 

  • Positively contribute ideas and feedback to help the team grow 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • You must be passionate about quality customer/client experience and have an empathetic, analytical, and modern product practice mindset 

  • General awareness or experience in advertising or media operations & data 

  • Extensive understanding of media data and experience helping clients to measure and assess their paid media activity 

  • Significant experience in the product development lifecycle and commitment to test, build, learn, iterate approaches 

  • Proven track record of providing valuable insight from data 

  • Ability to inspire great results from team members and promote innovative work 

  • Understanding of Ad Serving Technologies beneficial 

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative 

  • Must be adaptable and flexible to ensure that issues get resolved within the required timeframes 

  • Be able to become a product expert and master the functionality of our media solutions platform 

  • Can write technical documents including specifications, use cases, and test scripts 

  • Expert in using the Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint 

  • SQL experience would be helpful 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of related work experience 

  • 2+ years of media ops or data experience, particularly experience working in the media industry 

  • Requirements analysis, business value assessment, organization, and communication experience 

  • Working knowledge of R and Python helpful 

  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence 

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
