Job Description

The Associate Director manages accurate data management, processing, and analysis; the right data architecture for reporting and insights, help develop/deploy implementation, and maintain proper QA. The AD works closely with the media teams to ensure that the right measurement strategies and “test and learn” plans are in place, and manages the quality and timeliness of work being delivered to our client.

Role

The AD has considerable experience identifying solutions in sprawling data sets and has the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our client. They will work with leaders across media teams, technology teams, and markets to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and reporting by working closely with the Director in designing and creating optimal processes for the analytics team to follow. They will work with the Data Science team to interpret output from advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and analytical techniques from media data and use these insights into plans to support our client’s outcomes.

We're looking for a collaborator who is experienced working across complex pieces of business. You are required to have experience building relationships with both our teams and clients. You will navigate and understand the client's culture, business goals, and media strategy, and will have an appetite for innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting-related team deliverables from start to end
  • Guide successful completion of all reports and deliver applicable insights to our client and media team through management of analysts and collaboration with important partners
  • Examine, interpret, and report results of projects to team members in leadership
  • Demonstrate knowledge of client brands, their brand equity, and their consumer
  • Work with the Director to set the vision for measurement and analytics across the line of business for which you are responsible
  • Support the client “test and learn” philosophy for measurement
  • Contribute and advise on staffing and hiring plan
  • Inspire team and partners to produce valuable insights into campaign performance

Qualifications

Experience/Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics with expertise in digital media
  • Bachelor's Degree with a background in mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred
  • Background in managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • Analytics experience building reports from scratch
  • Client-facing experience within media agencies or publishers desired
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises, and cloud-based data sources
  • Experience using analytical and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing applicable recommendations for lines of business
  • Management experience desired

Software Skill Desired:

  • Experience with SQL & Python for data management and reporting automation
  • Know how to work with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Ad Tech platforms including, DoubleClick (DBM, DCM) Adobe (Analytics, AMO, AAM) Marin and Prisma is preferred
