Our Carat Detroit Office has been appointed by GM to service its global advertising T1 Buying, Planning, Analytics business since July 2012. Our digital analytics team is a highly collaborative and dynamic group responsible for all aspects of data collection, strategy consulting, measurement, dashboard and tool development, analyst, and performance reporting across all digital media channels. Our team works seamlessly with the broader Dentsu Business units and our clients a “One Team mindset” to continuously improve the value our client receives from their media investment. 

Job Description

As a Jr. Associate within our Digital Analytics Business intelligence team, you will be situated at the center of the agency which informs many aspects of client strategy, media activation and optimization. You will be well equipped with exceptional tools, technology, skill development training and world-class Dentsu products to help you service our GM clients. You will be responsible for assisting in all client deliverables (reports, measurement plans, POV’s, dashboard creation, data sharing etc.). You will be synthesizing data and results, identifying trends, insights and actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients within project timelines and key milestones. Other duties will include performing daily quality control monitoring, dashboard updates, troubleshoot and resolving data issues or challenge. You are expected to be an active participant on the business, consistently engaged and contributing ideas and insights that will benefit our clients. This position requires an individual that is intellectually curious, can mine data to answer complex questions and be able to clearly communicate findings. Attention to process and detail is a must.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree – ideally with a concentration in analytics, advertising marketing, business, engineering, or applied statistics/mathematics 

  • Recent graduates or 1+ years’ experience as a digital media analyst or specialist in media planning, consumer research, account planning, marketing, or media research  

  • Business intelligence platform experience (Tableau and or PowerBI) is preferred 

  • Must be very proficient in MS tool (Excel and PowerPoint) 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation  

  • Ability and interest in work with large data sets, analyzing, and reporting on digital media campaigns, providing actionable insight and recommendations 

  • Strong work ethic, organizational and time management skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment 

  • Exceptional attention to detail 

  • Familiarity with Ad Tech platforms including Google tools/services (DBM, DCM, SA360, DV360), Adobe (Analytics), Prisma and other marketing and research friendly tools is a plus 

  • Experience with SQL and Python is preferred but not required
