Job Description

The Associate Analyst, Data & Analytics role will be integral part of a cross-functional team, specifically focused on transforming raw data into insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with an innate interest in all things data: whether it’s data tidying, visualization, analysis, or statistics, using data to drive business outcomes is a passion. Role is ideally suited for someone interested in trying new things with data as well as getting to know the technical components that make data-driven performance solutions in marketing possible.

Data Management:

  • Access and compile large volumes of data across disparate sources into concise and precise information
  • Understanding of the concept of the ETL process and ability to query databases
  • Ensure data quality and data documentation
  • Solve problems with internal and external clients on data issues
  • Ability to determine and gather data requirements for a given project
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues

Data Analysis and Presentation:

  • Understand business processes and leverage the procured knowledge in planning, execution, and reporting
  • Produce visuals (charts, graphs) and presentations for summary trend statistics
  • Provide support for ad-hoc data and research
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and understandable way to non-technical colleagues (internal) and clients (external)

Qualifications

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, engineering, etc.) or with relevant coursework

·         +1 years related industry experience is recommended

·         Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

·         Basic understanding of the Digital Media landscape a plus

·         Proficient in SQL and baseline understanding of/exposure to Python & R is preferred

·         Familiarity with Tableau, Datorama, PowerBI and other data visualization platforms

·         Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines

·         Detail oriented, curious, self-starter

  • Experience working across multiple teams and groups

·         Strong communication & interpersonal skills
