Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Buying and Execution:

  • Issue RFPs to network audio vendors
  • Research network submissions using ACT 1 and RADAR
  • Negotiate schedules for both terrestrial and digital audio (when applicable) that meet client’s goals and cost parameters
  • Negotiate added value and integrations
  • Work with assistant to input and track buys in Media Ocean
  • Pull and analyze writer reports from Media Ocean

Billing Discrepancies:

  • Oversee the resolution of billing discrepancies
  • Resolve discrepancies when workload allows

Prisma and DCM (if applicable to account)

  • Enter digital audio schedules into Prisma for traffic
  • Q&A schedules with digital operations
  • Track delivery of digital audio vendors on a weekly basis

Rerates/Post buy analysis

  • Work with supervisor on post buy analysis
  • Negotiate compensatory weight for under delivery

Client and Internal Relationships:

  • Role may include direct client relationships depending on the account
  • Work with Supervisors to deliver buys and presentations to clients and colleagues within Carat
  • Assist Supervisors in maintaining client budgets
  • Work with management team to develop marketplace cpps/cpms
  • Work with Supervisors to create marketplace updates
  • Manage relationships with external client vendors
  • Participate in client presentations
  • Train and mentor Assistants

  • Works closely with planning teams in developing client strategy

•         Works with Supervisors to create marketplace updates, and presentations for final recommendations

Experience/Knowledge Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

·         1-2 years industry experience

·         Strong math and analytical skills

·         Strong communication skills- both oral and written

·         Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         Ability to learn server –based software and tools (MediaOcean, Act1)
