Job Description

The Market Associate is focused on the daily management of nightlife and retail consumer engagement programs in market. You are fundamental, and the implementation of controls, process, policy, and compliance is essential. The Associate position supports all aspects of activity in market and reports to the Market Manager. The Market Associate in this role must be comfortable working with the marketing and promotions of wine and spirits products.

You will:

  • Hire part-time brand ambassadors and event specialists to build alcohol sampling events in bars, retail outlets, and event spaces
  • Train staff to engage consumers and sample consumers at the point of purchase
  • Book the right staff for the right accounts, events and brand experiences
  • Manage point of sale inventory and materials for events
  • Coordinate kitting, shipping and delivery of POS and assets for all event activations
  • Ensure brand staff enter event recaps into online report portals in an accurate manner
  • Attend and audit events to ensure executional excellence
  • Make ongoing recommendations to improve event quality
  • Follow standard operating procedures, policies and protocols for issue resolution
  • Communicate and socialize success, insights and opportunities
  • Report and recap data and insights for real-time measurement and evaluation 
  • Be content minded and able to manage social media channel(s) to amplify events and event execution
  • Approve and submit staffing payroll and expenses
  • Reports into Market Manager and manages Brand Ambassadors

Qualifications

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in field / promotional marketing
  • Promotional experience in Wine and Spirits
  • Source candidates to guarantee a match to the position/organization
