Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. As Senior Account Director, you are viewed as a trusted advisor to the client. You must understand and articulate client business insights and leverage data to develop ways to move the business forward. You will lead and monitor the day-to-day activities, proactively identifying new business-building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop your team, and work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.

You will:

  • Foster deep client relationships at and above the Director level, providing expertise and deep knowledge of program performance and key strategic issues
  • Create cross-agency relationships and vendor partnerships to further support achieving client goals
  • Recommend solutions for increased revenue and client return on investment
  • Manage client budgets and program profitability
  • Manage ongoing development of client account team and resources
  • Ensure efficient use of all resources to achieve client financial goals
  • Develop annual direct marketing acquisition plans to meet financial goals
  • Challenge status quo and work with internal partners to find new opportunities to improve performance and fuel growth
  • Measure current program performance and test new program performance

Qualifications

You have:

  • Undergraduate degree in related field of study (ex: marketing, advertising, communications, etc.)
  • 10+ years of direct response marketing with 5 years in management
  • Minimum 5 years of online marketing experience
  • Minimum 5 years direct client management experience
  • Budget management, staff management and employee development experience
