We’re seeking a smart, energetic Paid Search Coordinator who is passionate about marketing, technology, and e-commerce. This role will have a focus on B2C marketing as well as will support in campaign development, the creation of marketing materials, and cross-functional team efforts. You will be receiving intensive training and close mentorship in all aspects of paid search Google marketing.

Job Description

 

  • Research existing clients and compile industry research, competitive data and information.
  • Support and improve paid search tactical planning.

  • Assist team in identifying optimization opportunities and making recommendations.

  • Support Senior Associates and Managers to develop and maintain content calendars for various platforms.

  • Participate in campaign brainstorming sessions.

  • Negate search terms for each client account on a weekly basis.

  • Create search term reports for paid search team members.

  • Create new campaigns with google sheets. 

  • Create placement lists for YouTube.

  • Create new ad copy for existing client campaigns.  

  • Setup Google campaigns on all channels.

  • Turn converting keywords into their own campaigns and create new ad copy for the new client campaigns. 

  • Update campaign ads that have expired deals. 

  • Create weekly reports for existing clients across the paid search department.

  • Upload campaigns to Google Ads Editor.

  • Create responsive search ads.

  • Create ad extensions (ex. Callouts, Sitelinks, Structured Snippets, Price Extension). 

  • Create new audience (custom intent/affinity) and import the audience from Google Audience Gallery.

  • Monitor demographics performance to adjust bids on a weekly basis.

  • Explore new keyword ideas using Google Keyword Planner.

  • Gain understanding of the difference between Branded, Acquisition, and Remarketing.

  • Identify and resolve account issues for ad disapprovals with Google Support.

Qualifications

  • Team player, persistent, collaborative, communicative, etc.

  • An academic degree in a related field (such as Advertising, Marketing, Economics, Applied Math, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or Communications).

  • Experience working an internship with an advertising/media agency

  • Prior experience using Excel for data management and/or budgeting a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills; uncommon organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Minimum 1-year experience working in Google Ads. This is an entry-level position.
