Job Description

MKTG Planning Associates oversee activation strategy and allocation of experiential events, volume, budgets, channel, and mix. The central planning team equips the event activation teams with the understanding of how to execute a brand's vision. Planners must ensure activation teams are armed with the most up-to-date brand information, guidelines, and production playbooks, and the right tools and support needed to perform brilliantly! You will be closely attuned to how markets are activating and performing, and responsible for business intervention. The Planning team is a cross channel team, that partners with central clients daily, to evaluate and provide insights that guide activation strategy for on, off and non-premise events. You will focus on non-premise activation but will need an understanding of all channels. Non premise activation may include sponsorships, partnerships, virtual experiences, etc.

You Will:

  • Support in development of central activation plans and budgets across multiple brands, programs, channels, and departments
  • Forecast, track, and reconcile activation budgets
  • Deploy market budgets and event allocations by brand, channel, and program
  • Manage annual, quarterly, and incremental event plans including the planning process, timelines, and communication to all partners
  • Guide activation strategy based on experiential goals
  • Develop activation strategy and ways-of-working; including sponsorship strategy, guidelines and checklists, approval process, financial process, measurement, and value reporting Track performance and provide regular / reoccurring insight reports by market, brand, and program
  • Improve communications to / from field activation teams
  • Create and provide up-to-date activation playbooks and production guidelines for all brands / programs
  • Update programs with new brand direction, market insights, seasonal changes, POS, assets, best practices, etc.
  • Ensure activation teams are using all current activation elements, assets, POS, uniforms, etc. needed to execute
  • Provide day-to-day brand guidance, direction and central support to local event activation teams
  • Lead central projects that promote work improvements or efficiencies
  • Socialize success and opportunities to regions and our client's marketing community
  • Serve as the daily POC and partner for our clients

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience executing experiential events / projects within a marketing or communications environment
  • Consumer marketing or relevant agency experience
  • Experience creating client-facing presentations
  • Excellent client relationship service skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Performance and data-driven
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team (in office and remote)
  • Experience working in the spirits industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote and Outlook
