Job Description

The purpose of this role is to lead financial reporting, control and analysis processes at a global DAN level, driving an appropriate control and compliance environment in line with Group policy and IFRS, teaming with functional and commercial partners to offer expert technical accounting knowledge and advice, and overseeing the production of insightful, high quality financial reporting to key stakeholders

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a strong accounting/finance background to join the DAN Americas Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) team.  As part of the FAR team, the candidate will lead regional and local level ad-hoc financial improvement implementations, ensuring the financial data shared with key stakeholders is technically accurate, complete and timely. In addition, the candidate is expected to provide sound and clear technical accounting guidance on any matter arising, particularly as it relates to financial reporting, policy, audit, M&A and budgeting/forecasting. The candidate is expected to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work collaboratively with various stakeholders at all levels, be well organized, meticulous with detail, and demonstrate an ability to identify areas for improvement and efficiency. This role will touch several areas of the greater DAN finance organization
