Job Description

The Operations Specialist is a reliable and technically skilled professional responsible for supporting modular data center production, mechanical assembly, and logistics operations. This role involves hands-on work in assembling and connecting modular units, installing mechanical components, and ensuring efficient material handling and workflow execution. The position requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge, a high level of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic industrial environments.

 

  • Assemble and connect modular data center units according to technical specifications and project requirements
  • Install and maintain mechanical components within modular systems
  • Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading heavy modules
  • Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and hydraulic platforms in a safe and efficient manner
  • Support warehouse and production processes to ensure smooth and timely operations
  • Coordinate activities with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
  • Contribute to workflow organization and continuous improvement of operational processes
  • Assist in transport, on-site work, and production-related activities as required
  • Identify and resolve operational issues with a proactive, problem-solving approach

Qualifications

  • Secondary School Diploma (Technical School preferred) 
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in modular data center production, mechanical assembly, or similar industrial environments
  • Proven experience in assembling modular units and installing mechanical systems
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Certification or qualification to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and hydraulic platforms
  • Self-motivation
  • Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple teams
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in team-oriented and fast-paced environments
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
  • High level of reliability, responsibility, and work ethic
  • Experience in logistics operations, including material handling and heavy load management
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for project installation and on-site support.
