Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of projects by assisting with planning, documentation, and communication across all phases of the project ESMC lifecycle. Working closely with the Project Manager and project team, this role ensures that project records, reports, and quality documentation are properly prepared and maintained. The Project Coordinator also helps monitor progress, follow up on client and subcontractor requirements, and supports compliance with company and client standards in quality, health, safety, and environment. Due to the fact that ESMC is a Taiwanese company and all on site people speaking mainly Mandarian, and therefore, this role is highly preferrable for Mandarian speaking candidate
- Assist in monitoring project progress and preparing project progress reports.
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating communication with clients (letters, emails, and verbal updates).
- Assist with invoicing, payment follow-ups, and maintaining related records. Familiar with TSMC global payment system is preferrable.
- Prepare and submit technical documents of Security & Access control, BMS and other Semiconductor tools and systems (e.g., submittals, design drawings, calculations) under guidance.
- Help develop and maintain project quality plans, inspection & test plans, and ensure documentation compliance with client requirements.
- Assist in tracking costs and preparing monthly cost reports for review by senior management.
- Support the variation/change order process and ensure proper documentation.
- Help track project milestones and follow up on recovery plans in case of delays.
- Coordinate requests for resources and maintain records within budgeted allowances.
- Ensure team members are aware of company SAP processes and client QHSE policies/procedures.
- Liaise with QA/QC and EHS colleagues on quality and safety-related matters.
- Prepare and submit project completion feedback reports to the sales department.
- Monitor subcontracted works and ensure required QHSE documentation is available at site.
- Assist with archiving project data/records after project completion.
- Support handling of non-conformities, including documentation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure inspection and test records are maintained prior to product handover to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Equivalent vocational/technical qualifications combined with relevant work experience may also be considered
- 2–4 years of experience in global TSMC FAB project coordination, administration, or a related role (preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial projects).
- Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams is an advantage.
- Exposure to contract administration, invoicing, or quality documentation processes is desirable.
- Familiar with Delta Solution business system such as PSQ, PS, PDS…etc.
Desired, if appl.:
Experienced in working with TSMC either in Taiwan, Japan or American.
Good understanding of project management principles and lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring, closing).
- Has working background on CCTV, Access control, Building Management System, Electrical installation specifically for semiconductor FAB
- Familiarity with project quality, safety, and compliance requirements (QHSE, QA/QC).
- Ability to prepare, review, and track technical documents (submittals, drawings, calculations).
- Experience with cost tracking, variation/change order documentation, and progress reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for internal and client-facing coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) required; German or Dutch language skills are an advantage.
- Strong time management and multitasking ability in fast-paced project environments
