Job Description

For our Electrical Vehicle Charging Solution (EVCS) Team we are searching for an experienced Technical Sales Support Engineer to help grow our business in France, Benelux and Italy from our location in Teningen, Germany or Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.

Your main responsibilities are

  • Provide technical support to sales, clients and product marketing in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Technical support for the preparation of quotations.
  • Support on preparation of technical documentation to meet local regulations.
  • Preparation of recommendations and expert advice on solutions - consultancy.
  • Assist in resolving technical inquiries in collaboration with the development team.
  • Drive feasibility study with R&D and consult alternative possibilities with the clients.
  • Assist in identifying new market opportunities, local laws and standards.
  • Provide occasional support to customers with complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain business relationships and service delivery to our customers.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the product lines to the customers.
  • Customer trainings on planning, installation & commissioning procedures
  • Support sales on marketing events & exhibitions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent training
  • 3-5 years of experience in electric vehicle charging solutions, energy storage systems, or power conditioning systems
  • Fluency in English and French, Italian is a plus
  • System integration and technical project management experience.
  • Broad knowledge about communication interfaces to integrate different electrical systems to a solution.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to analyse the customer requirements and to translate the technical requirements towards the development department.
  • Ability to work independently in an international team.
  • Customer orientation, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Occasional willingness to travel and existing driver's license.
