About the Role:

Join the IML Delta EMEA Team, a specialized group delivering cutting-edge Industrial, Medical, and LED Lighting Power Supply Solutions. As a Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will take a pivotal role in advancing our mission to provide world-class power solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Based in Helmond, Netherlands, you will collaborate with a passionate, innovative team and lead the charge in solving technical challenges, fostering customer relationships, and contributing to the growth and evolution of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Partner with the Technical Leader to support strategic projects and mentor junior team members.
• Conduct advanced technical training for internal teams and customers to ensure a thorough understanding of Delta's solutions.

Customer Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Lead pre-sales technical activities, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concept development, and application support.
• Resolve escalated technical issues promptly and effectively.

Solution Development:

• Design and implement customized solutions for industrial, medical, and LED lighting applications.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management teams to influence product development in alignment with customer needs and market trends.

Market Insights:

• Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and product strategy development.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple customer projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business goals are met.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and achieve successful outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create detailed technical documents such as design guides, application notes, and customer reports.
• Provide regular updates to management on project progress, technical challenges, and market insights.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 7–10 years of experience in a Field Application Engineer or similar technical role, preferably in power electronics.
• A strong background in industrial and medical applications is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in power supply solutions, including AC/DC, DC/DC converters, and LED drivers.
• Strong knowledge of system integration, hardware/software development, and application-specific solutions.
• Familiarity with simulation tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel across the EMEA region for customer meetings and industry events.
• Fluency in English (additional European languages and Mandarin are a plus).
