About the Job

As an Industrial Controller Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the device driver with C/C++ for a x86/ARM Linux RT industrial controller. You also have to learn and porting a commercial PLC runtime to a x86 Linux industrial controller. You must be able to efficiently read the technical document. You have to work with the testing engineer to design test cases and process to test the controller.

 

You will

  • Develop device drivers on x86/ARM Linux RT controller to control the peripherals, Ex: GPIO, RS-485/RS-422, FPGA/MCU board.
  • Learn and porting a commercial PLC runtime to x86/ARM Linux RT controller.
  • Co-work with testing engineer to test the above products.

Qualifications

You are

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science, Electrical/Electric, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years of practical experience with Linux device driver development with C, C++, object-oriented, and version control systems, e.g. Git, Jenkins, Mercurial.
  • Experience with programming FPGA or MCU is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
