Job Description
To provide Sales Channel Development that includes, but is not limited to, working with System Integrators, OEM’s, and End-Users to help understand VTScada software solutions from Delta Electronics. This will include regional and national tradeshows, as well as frequent customer meetings and technical seminars. To be considered for this role, a diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution or equivalent work experience is required, in addition to the following:
• Excellent communication and practical judgment skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to follow-up and not be discouraged in the face of opposition or competition
Duties:
• To deliver professional Sales Channel Development services with respect to SCADA software applications
• To analyze and develop optimal proposals relevant to the sale of SCADA software and associated products
• To prepare quotations for the provision of services and the licensing of software products in response to requests of customers, RFP’s, bid responses, including generation of price and cost estimates
Additional Information
Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree in Engineering or demonstrated technical knowledge
• Familiarity with current software programming languages and techniques in the SCADA sector
• Familiarity with RTU’s and programmable logic controllers, related hardware, and communications protocols, in industrial sectors relevant to the current application of SCADA software
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other technical professionals, technical non-professionals, public authorities and representatives of customers and prospective customers
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities to accommodate time-sensitive needs of the employer and customers, and to meet internal and external deadlines
• Ability to create verbal and written reports which effectively and efficiently communicate information to customers, prospective customers and other staff
• Ability to become educated by self-study in the detailed requirements of new control systems and communications systems and interfaces relevant to the application of SCADA software, and the technical features of current and evolving software products
• Ability to travel, including travel on short notice, to customer locations throughout dedicated territories (DACH, Nordic countries, UK)
• English and German speaking is mandatory
