Job Description

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Developing a sustainable business in the assigned areas, leveraging Delta product portfolio, core technologies and vertical markets competences
  • Focusing on new business whilst coordinating her/his activities with the partner(s) in the area, avoiding conflicts
  • Reaching & Exceeding assigned targets
  • Identifying System Integrators and Engineering Firms to expand business scope
  • Reporting on business activities and developments
  • Contributing to the definition on yearly targets and plans
  • The assigned territory will be Czech Republic and Slovakia
  • Required to travel within the territory to meet with existing and prospect customers
  • Required to travel to NL headquarters on a regular basis
  • Active participation in providing product, market, competition & customer feedback to management and the product management team
  • Manage the product design in process with machine OEM customers
  • Execute new product releases within the territory
  • Cooperate proactively with customer support and technical support teams
  • Propose marketing activities to support the business development in the territory

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering  
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales with an Industrial Automation key player (Manufacturer, Main Distributor, System Integrator)
  • Working experience in an international environment is preferred
  • Hands-on, knowledgeable in Industrial Automation products such as PLC, HMI, Motion Controller, Frequency drives, servo drives
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and is a must
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with intercultural awareness
  • Good organizational, planning, analytical and presentation skills
  • Commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently
