Job Description

In this role, you will focus on the business development and sales of our Datacentre solutions. You will work closely with Delta Telecom team in MEA region to quote and win projects. You will actively develop relationships with customers, key partners, and system integrators. You will facilitate partnerships, client sessions, and lead pre-sales efforts ensuring appropriate experts are engaged, to deliver accurate proposals to customers.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.

  • Understand customer technical requirements and deliver a consultative approach and solution-based selling.

  • Hire, train, motivate, and advise Datacentre Partners.

  • Achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

  • Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships.

  • Discover new growth areas.

  • Promote Delta Datacentre solutions to customers and Partner.

  • Develop proposals to customers with accurate solution leveraging Design & FAE teams.

  • Validate/prioritize engagement in high potential opportunities.

  • Report on successes and areas needing improvements.

  • Ensure follow up on actions and activities.

  • Be accountable for Datacentre Sales targets to our Telecom customers in the selected geographical area

Project work and areas of change

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Datacentre based solutions and customers’ business requirements to drive our offering in this area.

  • Prioritize activities according to revenue generation and corporate strategy.

  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Experience within the IT infrastructure industry or the Electrical or Mechanical manufacturing.

  • Experience of Complex projects consultative-selling.

  • Proven experience of 3+ years in Datacentre infrastructure or Power/cooling solutions selling.

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in Partnership development and ecosystem building.

  • Active participation in the Datacentre or the power sector professional organizations and events.

  • Middle East and Africa market knowledge.

  • Excellent level of verbal and written English and French, Arabic is an advantage.

  • Ability to comprehend, develop account portfolio and opportunity analysis.

  • Structured and well organised.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business deadlines.

  • Time and priority management skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, partnerships, and relationships building skills.
