Job Description

The role of Sales area Manager is to sell Eltek/Delta products and solutions in MEA region by implementing sales plans and strategies.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the MEA business plan.

  • Working with existing sales accounts and potential new customers in the assigned territory to increase market share and penetrate new markets/applications with the company products. Focus should include company targeted customers and segments where possible.

  • Develop and maintain distributors and representatives set for your area.

  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.

  • Work closely with Technical Team to ensure that all offers reflect customer needs.

  • Work closely with Logistics and Financial Teams in respect to the Sales Process.

  • Prepare Order forecast, Material forecast and Business Review on a monthly basis as well as any relevant report required by management.

    Follow all the procedures and processes of the company.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a successful Sales Manager in the Conversion Power industry (DC and AC Power Systems, Hybrid Solutions, UPS)

  • 3+ years of experience.

  • Middle East and Africa market knowledge.

  • Engineering degree or Business-related degree. Alternatively, proven sales experience.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business deadlines.

  • Fluent in English. French and Arabic an advantage.

  • Must travel frequently to successfully meet the needs of the business and customers.

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

  • Good planning and organisational skills.
