Job Description

To sustainably develop our business and market share in Portugal, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Channel Manager. This position will manage and develop channel partners in Portugal. The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners and is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives

Key Challenges:

  • Responsible for developing and managing business development activities, primarily through channel partners’ in Portugal for UPS & datacenter products and solutions
  • Positioning Delta as preferred supplier of products and solutions for enterprise & data center infrastructure management
  • Persistently exploring and uncovering the business needs to drive and develop Delta UPS & Data Center sales 
  • Key deliverable is growing market share by enhancing market footprint; supporting and developing channel partners’ network, monitoring competitors’ activities, managing communications with partners, creating plans for growing market share and monitoring channel activities
  • Providing monthly reports of forecast and pipeline
  • Attending trade shows, seminars, product launchings and similar events
  • Ensuring that documentation of presentations, financial reports, supplier contracts, price quotations and other paperwork are in line with corporate policies
  • Conducting contract negotiations with partners / customers
  • Working with partners for influencing end-users’ designs in compliance with Delta’s products & solutions

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years relevant experience in channel management, primarily in ICT domain
  • Good understanding of UPS and Data Center infrastructure solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the competitive environment, key competitors’ products and pricing
  • Good understanding and experience in project management
  • Able to discuss and communicate technical details both at a high level and with technical personnel
  • Excellent organizational & prioritization skills
  • Able and willing to travel regularly (~50% of time in Iberia)
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese and preferably Spanish languages.
