Job Description

Delta EMEA is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to develop our Energy Infrastructure Solution Business in the DACH region. The person should have a very detailed understanding of the energy ecosystem of the DACH region. The incumbent will be required to develop and execute the Business/Sales strategy for the region. This would include industry analysis (market, regulations, competition, technology trends), developing/managing key accounts, managing the value chain including SIs and 3rd party. Projects in technical and financial analysis are also part of the job. The end goal will be to generate profitable and sustainable business while building the Delta Solution business brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit Energy Solution Business opportunities for Delta in DACH region in Grid, C&I environment
  • Evaluate financial feasibility of opportunities
  • Manage relationships with Customers, Key accounts, partners, decision makers, opinion leaders and influencers
  • Build the partner ecosystem focusing on product gaps, Software, SIs
  • Cooperate with other business lines to increase reach and upsell
  • Manage compliance and regulatory requirements for the region
  • Build Delta brand in Energy Solution segment
  • Develop a very good understanding of Deltas product availability and other capabilities across business lines

Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical or Power engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ Years Sales experience. At least 5+ years of experience in solution sales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent both in English and German
  • Should possess hand-on experience and a success track record in developing energy infrastructure solution business in Grid, C&I and residential segments
  • Team Player familiar with working in Matrix Organizations
