Job Description

Professional Projectors and video wall display solutions

The role

As a Technical Support Engineer you will support our sales team, service teams and customers with focus on the high performance projectors and video wall solutions product categories. Our customers are based in Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The position is based in Hoofddorp and involves some travelling (10-30%) in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Evaluate and test new products – become the product expert in our regional team
  • Handle (technical-) escalations from 1st and 2nd line call center for own products

  • Maintain FAQ/Knowledgebase articles and documents for own product categories

  • Report field issues to R&D, quality or product manager

  • Provide input to technical trainer specialist for training program development

  • Participate in customer training events together with training specialist

  • Support our repair center network (Firmware, advanced troubleshooting etc.)

  • Customer site visit when required

  • Pre-sales product support to professional distributors, resellers and internal sales team

  • Sales project support

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in a customer facing technical role (technical support/field service/ or installation)

  • Experience with AV systems, serial- and network protocols

  • Technical Experience with large venue projectors and/or video wall solutions (DLP, LCD and/or LED) is preferred (installation, operation or service)     

Personal skills

  • Customer focused

  • Engineering minded (analyze, solve, document, communicate)

  • Structured, independent and self-learning

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English. German and/or French considered a plus.
