Job Description

  • New business development and key account management in the automotive market segment in the Germany region (including follow-up, active project management, and contract negotiations).
  • Plan and execute the market strategies and create market overviews (including competitor analysis)
  • Provide data and sales reports for monthly reviews
  • Present technical presentations
  • Develop and encourage a clear and open style of communication and be the link between the customers, the Business Units (BU) and factories in Asia.
  • Support cross business group / business unit accounts and enforce cross selling activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of sales and business development experience in automotive market. 
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in an international company
  • Professional technical electronics education
  • Technical background in electronic components (preferable experience in Inductive Components)
  • Experience in selling electronic components to the automotive market segments
  • Able to discuss and communicate technical and commercial details both with customers and colleagues in Asia
  • Good technical knowledge of components and a sound understanding of commercial activities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Team player, open minded, flexible and extrovert
  • Candidates with strong and wide existing network focused on the automotive market would be considered as a plus
