For our utility scale Mega Watt Power Converter Solutions business we are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager

To help grow our MW-Power Converter business in Europe, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of the existing and potential clients, develop new business in cooperation with assigned sales managers in the EMEA area with focus on the major wind turbine manufacturers and energy storage system integrator to implement dedicated strategies aimed to gain market share.

The main responsibilities are:  

  • Organize and lead support of the needs/issues of customers, system integrator, channel partners, potential clients and internal sales and management
  • Establish business relations with engineers in the respective industry
  • Work closely and independently with R&D of the customers and the Delta business unit to define suitable products and conditions
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis on MW-Power Converter segment products and solutions when required
  • Report periodically on technology and future technology trends;
  • Support the process of tender preparation by creating technical and commercial proposals, advising on solutions
  • Support pre-sales activities, trade shows organizations and marketing campaigns
  • Define future products roadmaps anticipating market trends and customers’ needs
  • Define new product specifications and cooperate with the assigned R&D team in the project management activities
  • Find opportunities for cross-selling


  • At least 3-5 years technical sales experience in the Mega Watt Converter Solutions business with focus on major wind turbines or Energy Storage System.
  • Deep knowledge in the field of Power Electronics with preferably knowledge on MW-Power Converter segment (Wind Power and Energy Storage Solutions)
  • Deep knowledge of the competition environment, key competitors’ products and pricing
  • Fluent in English, being able to speak another European language is a plus
  • Inquisitive and open to innovation and new technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational & priories skills
  • Independent, highly achievement driven and team player
  • In possession of driving licence, willing to frequently travel in EMEA and Asian countries
  •  Able to discuss and communicate technical details both at a high level and in simple layman skills
