Job Description

Being in our European R&D team, you as a R&D Engineer will support our sales team for our Fans and Thermal Management business group in EMEA. Your role is to work on feasibility studies and to develop concepts of fan series and state of the art fan designs.  You will conduct technical competition analyses and improve designs.

The European development team will design and construct fans that can meet the highest standards and will work together with the R&D team in Taiwan to further develop the fans into recognizable fans from Delta Electronics. The parts you design will be in mass production environment.

In our German office, we are looking for experienced:

Aerodynamics engineer

  • Plastic blower/Axial fan impeller design
  • CFD simulation for air born noise

High Voltage Brushless DC motor developer

  • Motor structure design (long life/robust bearing system, compact motor design)
  • Build up technology and know-how for motor mass production

Power Electronics / Motor driver engineer

  • SPM (surface mounted permanent magnet) motor control algorithm development
  • MODBUS/BACnet communication development
  • DSP (digital signal processor)/MCU (Microcontroller Unit) firmware design experience

Electronics software developer

  • Modularize power and motor control hardware development
  • EMI/ESD solution and failure analysis

Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering;
  • 5+ year experience in the above mentioned requirements;
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin is considered a plus;
  • Willing to travel (20%);
  • Eligible to work in the EU;
  • Analytical and detail oriented;
  • Able to work in a fast-changing, dynamic environment.
