Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will be directly responsible for developing the Home Appliance & Commercial Appliance Market in EMEA. You will focus on building sales channel through direct OEM local partners or sales agent where necessary. You also have understanding of the future trends of energy management and smart home industry, finding the good entry point for future growth.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Fulfil the sales budget in the country/region;
  • Visit customers, potential customers and fairs regularly and organise sales activities;
  • Be a key account manager to create and deploy strategy with deep understanding of customer requirements;
  • Identify the key appliance manufacturers;
  • Coordinate operational activities with engineering team & factory to ensure launches with strong project management skills;
  • Collect and analyse the market intelligence in the responsible region including market trends, competitions, technology movement etc;
  • Define key products and segments and work closely with R&D centre from BU to develop product meeting market expectation;
  • Project proposal offering;
  • Reporting to Business manager in Delta European headquarter on a regular base;
  • Represent Delta Group as a whole and enforce cross selling activities.

Qualifications

 

  • 3 years active in Appliance business;
  • Minimum of 10 years active in a Sales function;
  • Hands on ODM/OEM experience working in international companies and experience in building sales channel through local partners/ agents
  • Ability to work independently and propose solutions
  • Considerable experience in a big organization and comprehensive understanding on culture dynamic
  • Good organization, planning, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong self-initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Result Driven and commitment to deliver quality
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
  • Inquisitive and open to new innovation and technology.
  • Fluent in English
  • Preferably fluent in German, other languages are considered a plus
  • IC reference design and industrial segment experience would be a plus
