Job Description
For our EMEA HQ in Hoofddorp we are looking for a Senior IT Professional / Team lead the main focus is on technical skills and functional leadership.
Your Challenge is focused on three speering points as portrayed below.
IT Infrastructure
- Operation, support and maintenance of existing EMEA MS-Exchange Infrastructure on Senior Expert level
- Operation, support and maintenance of local Telecommunication Systems, local and EMEA Network and VOIP infrastructure on Expert Level
- Operation, support and maintenance of the existing applications and Systems
- Accountable for keeping local Security and Data protection requirements according to defined Policies and Compliance rules
- Accountable for local Backup and restore processes according defined Policies and Guidelines
- Installation of standardized IT systems and application according to defined policies and installation guidelines
- Assistance of IT Operation Head to define Policies and Guidelines
- Coordination and supervision of local external Supporting Companies
- Ensures operational Readiness
- Proposes Permission structures and assists the departments to define permission structures and profiles for Applications.
- Document System configurations and modifications
User Support:
- Manage the function of EMEA IT Helpdesk
- Is member of the local IT Helpdesk and supports optional assigned remote Locations as First Level Support
- Is member of the 2nd Level Support in EMEA
- Is local contact window for all IT Competence Area in EMEA
- Follow up all of the Requests and Incidents from the assigned Locations
- Provides regular reports to IT Operation Management
Competence Area:
- Will be member in EMEA wide competency teams and providing 2nd level support on those areas especially for MS Exchange
- Is member of Project teams within the Competence Areas and can be assigned as project leader by the Competence Centre Manager.
- Is contact window for 3rd Level Support and external Supporting and Consulting Companies.
- Evaluate and assists to evaluate Solutions and Systems.
Technical Lead in Competence Area:
- Is responsible to evaluate new Solutions and Systems especially for MS Exchange.
- Conduct, Schedule and plan User and Administrator Training.
- Creates Training Material.
- Responsible for the System Documentation and Change Management Log
Qualifications
- At least 10 - 15 years of experience in IT
- Experience in People management
- Deep knowledge and experience in Microsoft Server Technologies, MS Exchange, Active Directory and other core Microsoft Technologies are essential.
- Working knowledge in at least one additional main Competence Areas within VMware, Cisco Networking, routers and switches, IP, LAN & Wan.
- Good overall knowledge in ITIL Processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Ability to work independently
- Is Customer and service oriented
- Is experienced in analysing complex issues and has very good trouble shooting skills

It is a Team Lead position in a matrix environment office based in Hoofddorp.
